LOCAL ONLY — NY, NJ, CT High School Seniors. The TRSRM Foundation Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to high school seniors planning to enroll full-time in an accredited, public, or not-for-profit, four-year university in the US for the 2026-2027 academic year. Scholarships are awarded annually for $2,000+ to extraordinary Hispanic/Latinx high school seniors. The assistance is provided only for undergraduate education at any degree-granting four-year college within the United States, allowing recipients to study any academic discipline of their choice.

Eligibility:

- High school senior

- Attend school in NY/NJ/CT area

- Hispanic/Latinx

- Cumulative GPA above 2.8 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent)

- 80 recorded hours of community service

- Planning to register as a full-time college student for the Fall of 2027

- US Citizen, Permanent legal resident, DACA recipient, or U.S. Permanent Resident with a Permanent Resident Card (Green Card), Conditional permanent resident (I-551C), or other eligible non-citizen with a valid Arrival-Departure Record (I-94) showing Refugee, Asylum Granted, Indefinite Parole, Humanitarian Parole, or Cuban-Haitian Entrant designation

- Submit the FAFSA or state-based financial aid forms (if applicable)

How to apply

Applicants must complete the online application form and upload required documents including a report card, proof of community hours, an essay, FAFSA/SAR, school transcripts, enrollment verification, financial aid award letter, and three letters of recommendation (two from school officials, one from an employer/mentor/coach). All materials, including transcripts and letters of recommendation, must be submitted by the deadline.
