Sportswomen of Colorado Scholarship

About this opportunity

LOCAL ONLY — Colorado Only. The Sportswomen of Colorado Scholarship awards one graduating female high school senior $2,000. It is not solely an athletic performance award, but seeks a senior who demonstrates leadership and community contribution through sport. The award is for tuition and will be presented at the 53rd Annual Awards Celebration. A course of study or career connected to sport is preferred but not required, and financial need is not considered. Eligibility: - Graduating female high school senior, Class of 2027 - Colorado resident - Competed in a CHSAA-sanctioned sport - Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher after the first semester of your senior year, weighted or unweighted - Plans to attend an accredited college or university in the fall after graduation - Not an employee or board member of Sportswomen of Colorado, or an immediate family member thereof

How to apply

Applicants must complete an online application form, which includes four written responses of up to 250 words each. Required uploads are a high school transcript (PDF) including the first semester of senior year, and two letters of recommendation, with no more than one from a coach and none from a family member. The application does not save automatically, so applicants should use the 'Save and Continue Later' function.
